I thought I might actually use this thing since I went to the trouble of starting it, not because I actually have anything interesting to say.

I got back from Hall's Creek about a week ago, what a fiasco that turned out to be, on my second day I went face surfing (that sounds rude) down stone steps and fractured my cheekbone, sprained my ankle and made my left eye disappear underneath swelling. Then a week later I collapsed 3 times in a row and had to go to the Doctors. Which sucked. I had a few hundred tests, including an ECG (I wouldn't recommend having one) and ended up getting referred to Broome for a Head CT scan to check for Epilepsy. Broome is 9 hours away on the Bus overnight, which sucks really badly. But on the upside I got to see about a hundred wee kangaroo's in their natural environment (on the side of the road...) Broome is much cooler than Hall's Creek, but it's a more humid heat, so it's like breathing in water if you're out too long. It's not nice. So I had my scan at about 9am, just before some guy went in and arrested in the scanner (thank god, or i'd've been waiting ages) then I shopped and bought wierd presents because I hadn't slept in 2 days. I spent quite a lot, but was too wacked out to give a shit. I bought a pillow then got the bus back at about 7pm that night.

My Uncle has a projector so I stayed at home the rest of the time there watching telly (the guy let me go because he didn't like the fact I was ill or something) I need to get one of those things. Anyone have a spare $2000? I watched Live Aid, and was ashamed to recognise most of the acts. I bussed back to Broome last Monday, and because I was now an old hand at this Broome bus thing I slept the entire way. I ate some Jaffas (round m&m things)before I fell asleep though....and dribbled red food colouring on my shirt though, very classy Hannah. I got in to Broome at about 8am, and went out to Cable Beach for Brekky, which was a bit of a let down, I expect there to be things at the beach, but all that was there was the beach and a cafe and toilets. So I sat on the beach and read and tried to get relaxed or something but it was so hot and I was so bored. So I went back to the "town" and went to the internet cafe. God how boring. At the airport I didn't set off the metal detector, which I was chuffed about, until the guy scanned me for explosives. I felt guilty, even though I didn't bring any bombs on with me this time MESSING.

I got home and I haven't done anything except watch movies and buy presents. I decorated the tree and made a lolly wheel. This is my fucking life. How sad.

I applied to Uni in England and have heard back from a Uni, but don't have my online code for accessing the results yet, i'm not getting my hopes up though. There's this dig in Israel, near Bethlehem in a place called Ramet Rachel which I REALLY want to go on, but don't know if I'll have the money in time. Again, does anyone have any spare money??
